I recently read an article about things you should stop doing when you turn 24. Since I just turned 24 a month ago, I thought it would be funny to think about this topic and to share the things I think you should stop doing. 😉 Have you ever thought about different ages and things you can’t or shouldn’t do anymore when you’re reaching one particular age? It’s quite funny because I believe that you automatically stop doing things and start doing other ones when you’re getting older. In the following you’ll find some of the things I stopped doing around the age of 24, these are things you definitely shouldn’t doing anymore when you’re 24. Please leave me a comment and let me know if you agree or disagree. Are there things you would include in this list?
Stop buying cheap clothes
This is my favourite one! I already started to buy less cheap clothes a while ago, because usually I don’t really need them. I prefer to save my money and to travel instead or to buy one more expensive but very high-quality item instead. Buying cheap clothes often is a waste of money, because either you don’t like them anymore after the season, or they get broken after washing them a couple of times. You should start buying timeless pieces when you’re 24, pieces you know you’ll still be wearing when you’re 30 or even 35 years old.
Stop caring about what other people think
This is something you should definitely stop earlier, but if you haven’t stopped caring about what other people think yet, you should do it when you’re 24. There’s nothing to add to this!
Stop waisting time
This basically means: stop dreaming and start living your dreams! Don’t waste any more time and stop deferring everything to another day. You have only one life, and you should start living it now! You should have made a lot of experiences by now, enough to be able to reach your goals and dreams. And everything takes it time, the sooner you start, the sooner you’ll arrive where you want to be.
Stop taking your health and fitness for granted
Well, that’s something most people experience when they’re in their mid-twenties. It’s not as easy as it used to be to lose weight and to stay fit. Additionally, you have to take care of your health. Don’t take it for granted, because it’s not! Start eating healthy from time to time, go to the gym or just walk and take the stairs more often. You’ll do not only something good for your body but also feel better!
