Sweatpants in everyday life

I am sitting here in front of my laptop, writing these words while it's raining outside in Berlin. It's one of those days in July that doesn't feel like summer at all. And guess what I am wearing on a day like this? I am wearing my beloved Onweekends sweatpants. They keep me warm and make me feel cozy. Today, I didn't style it the way I am showing you here, but I am wearing a similar comfortable look.

I actually like sweatpants a lot as there are so many ways to style them. It's even possible to create casual chic looks with a pair of sweatpants. In this case, I opted for a casual one, obviously, and combined my black pants with a knitted sweater.

A knitted sweater looks a bit chicer than a sweatshirt or hoodie. That's why I could wear this outfit outside without looking like I forgot to get changed before leaving the house ;) I also added my small Phillip Lim bag as well as some pieces of jewelry for a slightly chicer appearance.

Regarding the shoes, I opted for a comfortable option and put on my black platform boots. They are perfect for rainy days, and I like them in combination with sweat pants.

The final look is quite casual yet something you can wear outside the house. Since I am my own chef, I even wear this kind of look in the office. How about you? Do you like this outfit? When and where would you wear it?
