Quilted Coat and Rubber Boots

Winter definitely isn't my favorite season of the year, as you know. Putting together a proper outfit is always a challenge for me when it's cold outside, and all I want to do is stay inside and snuggle in my blanket. One thing that really helps is layering. Layering is the best thing you can do in winter, and it offers plenty of room for creativity.

I layered a tank top, longsleeve, white button-down shirt, a blazer, and a quilted coat for this outfit. The layers you can't see are the ones you can choose based on what keeps you warm. The other layers should do both, keep you warm and create an exciting look at the same time.

When I look out of the window, I am very grateful for one specific purchase I made last year: my rubber boots. It's raining a lot these days, and rubber boots or UGG boots are the only shoes you can (or should if you don't want to ruin your other shoes) wear these days.

As I mostly feel like wearing comfortable outfits when I have to go outside in winter, I decided to wear leggings with this look. It's definitely a change for me as I haven't been wearing leggings (except for working out or traveling) in years. But I felt comfortable in this look, and that's the most important. - I was wearing: Birgitte Herskind Coat and Blazer // Gestuz Shirt // Jasmine Alexa Leggings // Hunter Boots // Liebeskind Berlin Bag
