Midi Dress combined with knitted vest

Autumn is here, and it brings a mix of sunny and rainy days. I got you covered for both kinds of weather and will share a variation of autumn looks in the next days. I will start with an outfit for sunny and still quite warm autumn days. We were very lucky in Berlin and had some lovely autumn days in October. I felt like wearing one of my dresses that are perfect for autumn days. The one I am wearing here is perfectly suitable for an autumn day due to the midi length and the long sleeves.

I didn't feel like wearing a jacket, blazer or coat that day. So instead, I decided to combine the dress with a knitted vest. Knitted vests are a big trend, and even though I wasn't sure whether I would like the trend, I know that I will wear knitted vests a lot in winter. When you get them in at least one size up, you can easily wear them on top of most of your clothes - not only dresses.

In autumn I preferably combine dresses with boots. In this case, I opted for a pair of creme colored boots. It wasn't raining, and I felt like sticking to lighter colors that day. The color of the boots isn't the same as the dress, but the shades are quite similar. Usually, I try to wear matching clothes, and I have to admit that I wasn't sure about this combination. But I ended up liking it a lot and didn't another unusual thing for me: I chose a brown bag to finalize the look.

If you think about getting yourself a knitted vest, get one you have to lace on the sides. This will give you many different styling options.
