The weekend is over; it’s Monday again, and nevertheless, I would like to talk about the inner conflict whether to go out or stay at home today. Those who are in a job question themselves every weekend whether to go out or stay at home and some of you probably ask themselves even during the week. Especially in autumn and winter, we’re everything but motivated to get dressed and leave our home. Some people think they HAVE to go out every weekend; it’s the fear of missing out. But guess what? That’s bullshit. We have to accept that we can’t do EVERYTHING. There will always be things we won’t experience, things and activities we will miss. But while we’re missing these things, we’re doing other stuff instead. Do you get what I’m trying to say? 🙂

Why staying at home is always better than going out

There are so many good reasons why staying at home is always better than going out. Today I want to share my top five reasons to stay at home instead of going out. I don’t want to say, that you shouldn’t go out at all. I just want to give you some good reasons to stay at home and feel good about it. I want to still the fear of missing out. So here are five pretty good reasons why staying at home is a good thing:

1. You can be 100 percent yourself
When you’re staying at home, you don’t have to impress anybody. You wear whatever you want and don’t have to worry about what other people think. You can be 100 percent yourself!

2. Staying at home is cheaper
Staying at home saves you a lot of money. You don’t have to pay entrance; you don’t have to pay for drinks or food. Well, you don’t have to pay as much as you have to pay when you’re going out. Food and drinks are much cheaper when you buy them at a supermarket.

3. You don’t have to care about others
This is one is pretty similar to reason number one. It means that you don’t have to fear the judgement of others and at the same time it means, that you don’t have to take care of a group of people you’re going out with. You don’t have to make sure everyone is included in the conversation, you don’t have to find a club, bar or restaurant everybody is agrees with.

4. You have more choices
You have way more options when you’re staying at home because you’re the one who decides 😉 It’s always hard to make a decision when more than two people are involved.

5. You can avoid wasting time
You never know how the evening and night will be when you’re going out. It could be a very good time, but it could be a waste of time as well. So when you’re staying at home, you can avoid wasting your time, you can avoid meaningless conversations and unexpected turns.
