Yesterday I showed you how to create a sporty cape outfit. Today follows a casual look and another way to wear a cape. I already told you that you can combine a cape with almost everything, it only depends on the cape itself, the shape, the colour/print, … The Zara scarf I transformed into a cape is a good example for a simple blanket cape: black and white are colour you can never go wrong with and that’s why it is easy to combine this cape. So if you want to buy a cape, I would suggest to buy something simple in black, grey or white for the beginning 🙂
How to wear a cape: casual outfit
The second 4 Days 4 Ways outfit is a casual one – perfect for a Sunday like it’s today 😉 You’ve already seen how I combined my cape with jeans, so today it’s time for another garment, a skirt. I didn’t want to experiment with colors, that’s why I kept it simple and combined the black and white cape with grey and black. I wore a grey sweater, a black skirt and black booties and wore one side of the cape across the shoulder.
So now you’ve seen two cape outfits, two possible ways to combine it: a sporty one and a casual one. AND you’ve seen two ways to wear a cape: in the first outfit I wore it unclosed and today, in the second outfit, I wore it with one side across the shoulder. Which way do you prefer?
