Mid of March already, and once again, I am late with my monthly recap for the previous one. But better late than never, today I am finally sharing everything about February 2022.
While January felt like two months at least, February went by super quick even though I spent half the month quarantining at home. But more about it later in this post. Let’s start with the beginning of February and continue from there:
Copenhagen Fashion Week
As you already might know, Copenhagen Fashion Week took place beginning of February. I arrived early this time and got to spend a few calmer days in this city together with my boyfriend at the end of January. He left the day Fashion Week started, and I had a whole week of shows, events, and street style ahead of me.
CPHFW is always my favorite. I love the brands, I love the style, and the whole atmosphere is just so lovely and fun. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best. It was freezing cold and raining most of the time, which made it hard for me to enjoy the fashion week, to be honest. Additionally, I got sick, and sticking to my busy schedule was extra hard.
Buuuut, not everything was bad. I also had some fun moments and enjoyed watching the shows, seeing the new collections, connecting with the people, and creating content for you. So, in the end, I left Copenhagen with so many new memories and gratitude.
By the way, are fashion weeks interesting for you? If so, let me know, what you want to know and see, so I know what to share 🙂
After two years…
… I caught corona eventually. I survived two years without catching the virus, but it must have happened in Copenhagen during Fashion Week because I got tested positive the week I was back. They just had opened up EVERYTHING in Denmark with no restrictions at all anymore.
So once I was back from Copenhagen, I had to quarantine at home for ten days. I didn’t have the worst symptoms, luckily. My throat hurt, and I was tired most of the time. I didn’t have a lot of energy, and walking, etc., was quite exhausting, but that’s it. So I spent the ten days watching series, sleeping, and eating. 🙂 Now that I had it, I am actually a little bit relieved. I always was worried about how my body would react to the virus. Now that I know, it actually makes me feel a bit better and safer.
I did my first juice cleanse
I’ve always wanted to do a juice cleanse, and I tried once years ago. But back then, I tried to make all the juices myself, which definitely made it harder, and I canceled after half a day already. But once I was feeling better after having corona, I wanted to do something good for my body and did a three-day juice cleanse. This time I didn’t try to make the juices myself, I got everything delivered, and I also went for a cleanse that included one soup per day. The soup definitely made it easier for me; having a warm meal a day is worth a lot! The three days went by super quickly and worked very well, but I couldn’t have done it for a longer period. So when you are thinking about doing a juice cleanse, start with three days and allow yourself to have a warm soup a day. 🙂
I got a new haircut
A year ago, I decided to cut my hair short. And it honestly was one of the best decisions I made in 2021. This year I decided to cut it even shorter. After a year or something like shoulder-long hair, I got used to it and a bit bored, to be honest. I wanted to try something new, and once again, I am so happy with this decision. I had to get used to it at first, but I love the short hair so much on me. Even more than the length I did last year. 🙂 What do you think?
