While you’re reading this, we are probably enjoying our last full day in Phuket! We’re already flying back to Bangkok tomorrow afternoon to spend another night in this city before flying back to Berlin on Tuesday. The time here went by way too fast, and I wouldn’t mind spending another week in Thailand. But being back home isn’t bad either. For now, I’ll tell you a bit more about our past week in Phuket.
We arrived in Phuket a week ago. We spent the first four nights at Indigo Pearl and are currently at SALA Phuket. Indigo Pearl was just perfect; it’s such a beautiful resort. SALA isn’t bad either, but I just like the Indigo Pearl better. Anyways, I’ll tell you more about the hotels soon! We spent most of the time at the beach or by the pool and made only one day trip so far. We went to Koh Yao Yai, a lovely island only about 30 minutes away from Phuket. We rent a scooter and drove around the island which was pretty much fun! Since then we haven’t been doing a lot. We rent a scooter to see the north of Phuket, but that was very disappointing since there’s rubbish almost everywhere… not sure, if it’s only Phuket, but I heard similar things about the other islands and Koh Yao Yai wasn’t much better as well.
