It happened again; I had to skip one “24 hours a day, 7 days a week” post due to sickness. I am so sorry that I didn’t tell you everything about my week last Sunday, but today I am back, and I will not only talk about the past week, I will talk about the previous two weeks! So even though I didn’t share a review last Sunday, you will get to know everything about that week 🙂 To make sure the post won’t be too long, I will focus on the eventful days only and skip the rest. So on all the days I won’t mention in the following, I probably was working or relaxing at home 🙂
On Monday the 4th of December I flew to Denmark to see the new collections from VILA. It was my second time in Denmark with this brand, and I was so looking forward to it. I couldn’t wait to see the collections, and oh, I can tell you, they are amazing! I can’t show you all the details right now, but I am sure you will see me wearing some of the pieces as soon as it gets warmer in Europe. We spent around 24 hours in Denmark, saw the new collections, got to hear more about the stories behind it and had a wonderful dinner with the brand and the press as well as other bloggers and influencers. We headed back to Berlin on Tuesday, and since I was starting to feel sick, I spent the rest of the day at home – in bed.
My Wednesday started at the Grand Hyatt where the Laughing Hearts Press Brunch took place. Laughing Hearts is a charity organisation that supports socially disadvantaged children and teenagers. And since Christmas is just around the corner they collected the children’s wishes for Christmas. They organised the brunch to make some of the wishes come true. We got to pick one wish from a Christmas tree and also had the chance to pack some other wishes they already bought that day. It was so much fun to wrap something for some of the children, and I would love to see their eyes when they open the presents 🙂
In the evening we had another event: the premiere of Dirty Dancing in Berlin. It was the first time I saw the musical plus we got to see everything behind the scenes. It was such a cool experience, and I also enjoyed seeing the musical – and my boyfriend did as well 😉 I first wasn’t sure whether he would like it or not haha.
On Thursday we drove to Wolfsburg because we were invited to spend some days at the “Autostadt”. We stayed until Saturday, but unfortunately, I got sick and couldn’t enjoy it to the fullest. I wasn’t fit enough to do ice skating, and I also couldn’t do the off-road drive with the VW Touareg – but my boyfriend did it and had a lot of fun 😉
Even though I was sick, we tried to make the best of it. We spent a lot of relaxing time at the hotel, I drank many ginger teas, and we walked through the Autostadt, had a look at some new cars and enjoyed the Christmas spirit to the fullest.
We arrived back in Berlin in the early afternoon, and I didn’t do much but trying to get better the rest of the weekend. Monday to Wednesday was super busy days at the office; I had a lot of work to get done. On Thursday I started the day with an event. I was invited to a private Maria Nila Market at Daluma including lots of food as well as hair care products from Maria Nila. I knew the brand before, but it was the first time I got to learn a little bit more about it, and I had a great time. The location and set-up were super nice as you can see in some of the pictures 🙂 After the event, I headed back to the office and spent the rest of the day working. Friday was another day full of work at the office, and I was super happy when I was home in the evening and go to eat dinner and watch Netflix.
These were the highlights of the past two weeks! As you can see, a lot happened, and I had two great weeks. I am now looking forward to the last two weeks of the year, and I can’t wait to tell you everything about it. xx
